SAFEHAVEN

Where Hope Lives

“Don’t stare.” That’s what most of us were taught as kids when we saw someone who looked different. It was coming from a place of kindness, but it ultimately taught us to look away.

The problem? Looking away doesn’t create understanding. It creates invisibility. That’s why, with Safehaven, we created a board game to teach kids about disability and allow families talk about it in a way that feels natural rather than loaded - flipping the script and making medically complex children visible.
